Local Gospel Band, Truality, to Host Concert to Benefit Team Tony Cancer Foundation

and Sarasota Prostate Initiative

SARASOTA, Fla. – Local, award-winning gospel band, Truality, is partnering with Trinity Youth and Families, Inc. and Exodus Community Resources, Inc. to present their 1st Annual “Shout It Out – Cancer Free!” benefit concert on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at SCF Neel Performing Arts Center. A portion of the proceeds from the concert will benefit Team Tony Cancer Foundation, a Sarasota-based nonprofit organization that provides free peer-to-peer cancer support and resources to cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers in the local community, and Sarasota Prostate Initiative, a Sarasota-based nonprofit organization that increases awareness of diagnostic and treatment options available to men with prostate disease, and guides and supports them through their journey.

The “Shout It Out – Cancer Free!” benefit concert will feature Truality Gospel Ensemble and Friends and will celebrate Truality’s Founder and Music Director, Dennis Clove’s, victory over prostate cancer.

Your support is critical to those with cancer. Tickets are available for $20 or VIP tickets for $50.

 

VIP Tickets Include Preferred Seating and a VIP Reception from 5:30-6:30pm which lite bites of some good ole' soul food favorites will be served.

About Truality

Award-winning gospel band, Truality, was formed in October 2014 by Dennis Clove, music director. He was offered the opportunity to provide gospel music for a Sunday Gospel Brunch at a local Sarasota, FL. restaurant. Dennis invited the two sisters, Kimla and Shemeeka Murrell, to join him, as well as a few of his church choir members for their first gospel brunch performance. In 2017, Truality linked up with drummer, Darrell Johnson, and they have since gone on to perform gospel and positive, family-friendly music at many venues. With a growing reputation for tight, blended harmonies, versatile music style and high- energy performances, Truality’s popularity and scope continues to rapidly expand throughout Florida’s Suncoast and beyond.
